Shop by marble score

Marble score shapes how a steak eats more than the cut does. Pick the band that suits the occasion rather than paying for marbling you will not taste.

Producers we deliver to the ACT

We buy direct from named Australian farms and feedlots, so every cut on this page traces back to a producer you can look up. Feed type and marble score are stated on each product page.

How Canberra delivery works

Orders are butchered to order in Melbourne, cryovac sealed and dispatched chilled in an insulated box with chilled gel packs. We dispatch Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off, and Canberra addresses receive their order 2 to 3 business days after that. Delivery is a flat $30 with no minimum.

The ACT is compact enough that there is no metro and regional split here. Every suburb gets the same service and the same price.

Where we deliver in the ACT

Banks in Tuggeranong is our busiest ACT suburb, followed by Coombs, Stirling, Waramanga and Monash. We also deliver across Belconnen, Gungahlin, the Molonglo Valley and the inner north and south, including Ainslie, Campbell, Yarralumla, Curtin and Griffith.

Canberra households order well above our national average basket, which usually means whole primals portioned at home rather than single steaks.

What we deliver to Canberra

The full range: 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Cape Grim, Bass Strait, OBE Organic and Greenham, grain-fed Wagyu from Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River running MB4 to MB9+, Tasmanian and Victorian lamb, free-range pork and bacon, and a small seafood range. Every product page states the producer, the feed type and the marble score.

the ACT delivery questions

Which days do you dispatch to Canberra?

We dispatch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off. Orders placed after the cut-off go out on the next dispatch day.

How long does delivery take to Canberra?

Canberra and ACT postcodes arrive 2 to 3 business days after dispatch. Everything is cut to order after you buy, which is why we do not offer next day delivery.

How much is meat delivery in Canberra?

A flat $30 anywhere in the ACT, whatever the order size. There is no minimum order and no free delivery threshold.

Will my meat still be cold when it arrives?

Yes. Every cut is cryovac sealed and packed in an insulated box with chilled gel packs, rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours once delivered.

Which Canberra suburbs do you deliver to?

All of them. We have delivered to 26 ACT suburbs so far, spanning Belconnen, Woden, Tuggeranong, Gungahlin, Molonglo and the inner north and south.

Is the beef delivered frozen?

No. Orders are delivered chilled and never frozen unless you request it. Products with FROZEN in the title are the exception and are labelled clearly.

Is the beef grass-fed or grain-fed?

Both. The grass-fed range covers Cape Grim, Bass Strait, OBE Organic, Greenham and Southern Ranges. The Wagyu range is grain-fed and includes Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River.
