Which days do you dispatch orders?
We dispatch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by express courier, with a 12pm cut-off for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after the cut-off go out on the next dispatch day, so the cold chain is never broken by a weekend in transit.
How long does delivery take in Australia?
It depends on your state. Victorian metro orders arrive 1 to 2 business days after dispatch. NSW, SA and ACT metro take 2 to 3 business days. QLD, WA and TAS metro take 3 to 5 business days. Regional postcodes in any state add 1 to 2 days on top.
How much does delivery cost?
A flat $30 anywhere we deliver, whatever the order size. There is no minimum order. Pickup from our Thomastown facility in Melbourne is free.
Is there free delivery over a certain amount?
No. Delivery is a flat $30 regardless of order value. We would rather charge freight openly than bury it in the price per kilo.
How is the meat kept cold in transit?
Every order ships cryovac sealed in an insulated box with chilled gel packs, rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours once delivered. Sealed cryovac beef holds up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from the packing date.
Is the meat delivered frozen?
No. Orders are delivered chilled and never frozen unless you request it. Products with FROZEN in the title are the exception and are labelled clearly.
Do you deliver to the Northern Territory?
Not at the moment. If you are in the Northern Territory, contact us before ordering and we will let you know if that has changed.
Can I collect my order instead of paying for delivery?
Yes, free of charge from 5/337 Settlement Rd, Thomastown, Victoria. Choose pickup at checkout. Around one in seven of our orders is collected.
