How Geelong delivery works

Orders are butchered to order at Thomastown, cryovac sealed and dispatched chilled. We dispatch Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off, and Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast receive their order 1 to 2 business days after that. Delivery is a flat $30 with no minimum.

Thomastown pickup is free, but it sits on the northern side of Melbourne, so it is only worth it if you are already making the trip.

Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast

This is one of the strongest regional clusters we deliver to. Newtown, Geelong, Armstrong Creek, Mount Duneed, Highton, Grovedale and Belmont order steadily, and the coastal strip through Torquay, Jan Juc, Anglesea, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale lifts noticeably over summer.

Holiday house cooking suits the way we sell. A whole primal, cryovac sealed with up to 10 weeks of fridge life, travels down for the break and gets portioned as you go.

Pickup is free from 5/337 Settlement Rd, Thomastown. Order online, choose pickup at checkout, and collect when it suits you. Around one in seven Carnivore Society orders is collected rather than delivered.

Which days do you dispatch to Geelong?

We dispatch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off. Order before midday on a dispatch day and your meat is packed and on the road that morning.

How long does delivery take to Geelong?

Orders arrive 1 to 2 business days after dispatch, the same as Melbourne metro, because we pack in Victoria. Outlying Surf Coast and Bellarine postcodes can add a day.

How much is meat delivery in Geelong?

A flat $30 across Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast, whatever the order size. There is no minimum order and no free delivery threshold.

Can I collect instead?

Yes, free of charge from 5/337 Settlement Rd, Thomastown. It is the far side of Melbourne from Geelong, so it only makes sense if you are already heading that way, but the option is there.

Do you deliver to the Surf Coast and Bellarine?

Yes. Torquay, Jan Juc, Anglesea, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Point Lonsdale, Clifton Springs, St Leonards and Indented Head are all on the run.

Will my meat still be cold when it arrives?

Yes. Every cut is cryovac sealed and packed in an insulated box with chilled gel packs, rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours once delivered.

Is the beef grass-fed or grain-fed?

Both. The grass-fed range covers Cape Grim, Bass Strait, OBE Organic, Greenham and Southern Ranges. The Wagyu range is grain-fed and includes Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River.
