How Gold Coast delivery works

Orders are butchered to order in Melbourne, cryovac sealed and sent north in an insulated box with chilled gel packs. We dispatch Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off, and Gold Coast addresses receive their order 3 to 5 business days after that. Delivery is a flat $30 whether you are on the beachfront or in the hinterland.

The cryovac seal and the cold chain are what protect the meat in a Queensland summer, not speed. The packaging holds safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours on your doorstep.

The Gold Coast outsells Brisbane

Mermaid Waters and Surfers Paradise are two of our three busiest Queensland locations, and both order more than Brisbane City does. Currumbin Waters, Pimpama, Reedy Creek and Benowa follow close behind.

Gold Coast baskets are entertaining baskets. Tomahawks, rump cap, brisket and full blood Wagyu move faster here than the national average, which is what you would expect in a city built around outdoor cooking.

Which days do you dispatch to the Gold Coast?

We dispatch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off. Orders placed after the cut-off go out on the next dispatch day.

How long does delivery take to the Gold Coast?

Orders arrive 3 to 5 business days after dispatch. Everything is butchered after you order, so we do not offer same day delivery.

How much is meat delivery on the Gold Coast?

A flat $30 to any Gold Coast suburb, whatever the order size. There is no minimum order and no free delivery threshold.

Will the meat survive the heat?

Yes. Every order ships cryovac sealed in an insulated box with chilled gel packs, rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours once delivered. Sealed cryovac beef carries up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from packing.

Do you deliver to the hinterland?

Yes. We deliver to Mudgeeraba, Tallebudgera Valley, Guanaba, Gilston, Boyland and Gleneagle as well as the coastal strip.

Is the beef delivered frozen?

No. Orders are delivered chilled and never frozen unless you request it. Products with FROZEN in the title are the exception and are labelled clearly.

Is the beef grass-fed or grain-fed?

Both. The grass-fed range covers Cape Grim, Bass Strait, OBE Organic, Greenham and Southern Ranges. The Wagyu range is grain-fed and includes Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River.
