How Sunshine Coast delivery works

Orders are butchered to order in Melbourne, cryovac sealed and sent north in an insulated box with chilled gel packs. We dispatch Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off, and Sunshine Coast addresses receive their order 3 to 5 business days after that. Delivery is a flat $30 from the beach to the hinterland.

The cryovac seal is what protects the meat in the Queensland climate. The packaging holds safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours once delivered, and sealed beef carries up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life.

Maleny and Maroochydore lead the coast

Maleny and Maroochydore are two of our busiest Queensland locations, both ordering more than Brisbane City. Buderim, Mountain Creek, Kuluin, Coes Creek and Baringa follow.

The hinterland is a genuine pocket of demand for us. Maleny, Mapleton, Palmwoods and Obi Obi order premium grass-fed regularly, which is what happens when a food-minded community sits an hour from a good butcher.

Which days do you dispatch to the Sunshine Coast?

We dispatch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off. Orders placed after the cut-off go out on the next dispatch day.

How long does delivery take to the Sunshine Coast?

Orders arrive 3 to 5 business days after dispatch. Everything is butchered after you order, so we do not offer same day delivery.

How much is meat delivery on the Sunshine Coast?

A flat $30 anywhere on the coast or in the hinterland, whatever the order size. There is no minimum order and no free delivery threshold.

Will the meat survive the heat?

Yes. Every order ships cryovac sealed in an insulated box with chilled gel packs, rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours once delivered. Sealed cryovac beef carries up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from packing.

Do you deliver to the hinterland?

Yes. Maleny is one of our busiest Queensland locations, and we also deliver to Mapleton, Palmwoods, Chevallum, Hunchy, Obi Obi and North Maleny.

Is the beef delivered frozen?

No. Orders are delivered chilled and never frozen unless you request it. Products with FROZEN in the title are the exception and are labelled clearly.

Is the beef grass-fed or grain-fed?

Both. The grass-fed range covers Cape Grim, Bass Strait, OBE Organic, Greenham and Southern Ranges. The Wagyu range is grain-fed and includes Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River.
