Delivery is $30 whether the box holds two steaks or twenty kilos, because the rate does not scale with weight. Bentleigh East is one of the suburbs where customers have clearly worked that out: the average order we send here is well above our national average, which normally means a household filling a freezer in one go rather than buying weekly.

Thomastown is too far north for collection to be worth the drive from the south-east, so the sensible play is to order less often and order more. Cryovac gives up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from packing while the seal stays intact, so a big order does not all have to go into the freezer on arrival.

Cut to order, not off a shelf

Your order is broken down, trimmed and vacuum sealed after you buy, then packed with chilled gel packs into an insulated box rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours on your doorstep. Chilled, never frozen. If you want primals portioned a particular way, put it in the order notes; nothing is pre-cut, so it costs nothing to ask.

Cape Grim and Bass Strait supply 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Tasmania. OBE Organic runs certified organic cattle in the Channel Country. Southern Ranges, Greenham and Angus Pure cover the grass-fed premium end, and Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River cover Wagyu.
