Campbellfield and Thomastown share a border, and our facility at 5/337 Settlement Rd is a few minutes up the road. Paying $30 to have a carton driven that distance makes no sense, so if you are in Campbellfield the honest advice is to choose pickup at checkout and collect for free. Around one in seven Carnivore Society orders is collected, and the northern suburbs are where most of those come from.

It also means you can order later. Delivery has to make the courier run; collection only has to make the butchery run, so an order placed before the 12pm cut-off is ready that same day.

What happens at Settlement Road

Nothing sits pre-cut on a shelf. Orders are broken down, trimmed and vacuum sealed after you buy, then packed with chilled gel packs into insulated boxes for the ones going out on the road. That is why we run Monday, Wednesday and Friday rather than shipping continuously, and why a cryovac seal gives up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from packing while it stays intact.

Named producers, stated grades

Cape Grim and Bass Strait supply 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Tasmania. OBE Organic runs certified organic cattle in the Channel Country. Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River cover Wagyu. Every cut is MSA graded, hormone free and antibiotic free, and the producer, feed type and marble score are on each product page. If a claim is not on the page, we are not making it.
