A short run up the Hume

Craigieburn sits at the northern end of the growth corridor, close enough to the Thomastown facility that both options are genuinely open: delivery at a flat $30 arriving 1 to 2 business days after dispatch, or free collection if you are already heading south. Orders placed before the 12pm cut-off on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday are cut and packed that morning either way.

It is an area of large, newer houses and big households, and the orders show it. Because the delivery rate does not scale with weight, buying once for the month costs the same to send as buying for the week.

Your order is broken down, trimmed and vacuum sealed once it is placed, then packed with chilled gel packs into an insulated box rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and 12 hours on your doorstep. Chilled, never frozen, with up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from packing while the cryovac seal stays intact.

Buying by marble score

Marble score does more to shape how a steak eats than the cut does. MB2 to MB4 grass-fed suits weeknight cooking and roasting. MB4 to MB5 is more forgiving on the grill. MB6 and above is Wagyu, best cooked hot and fast and served in smaller portions than most people expect.
