Preston Market has been selling meat properly for decades, so nobody here needs convincing that where it comes from matters. What we add is traceability and grading you can read before you buy: every product page states the producer, the feed type and the marble score, and nothing is pre-cut and displayed. Your order is broken down and cryovac sealed after you place it.

Preston is also close enough to Thomastown that collection is genuinely practical. Choose pickup at checkout, order before the 12pm cut-off on a dispatch day, and it is ready the same day for free.

Cut to order after you buy

Orders are trimmed, portioned and vacuum sealed at Thomastown, then packed with chilled gel packs into an insulated box rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours on your doorstep. Chilled, never frozen, with up to 10 weeks of refrigerated shelf life from packing while the seal holds.

Named producers, stated grades

Cape Grim and Bass Strait supply 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Tasmania. OBE Organic runs certified organic cattle in the Channel Country. Southern Ranges, Greenham and Angus Pure cover the grass-fed premium end, and Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River cover Wagyu. Every cut is MSA graded, hormone free and antibiotic free.

MB2 to MB4 grass-fed suits weeknight cooking and roasting. MB6 and above is Wagyu, best cooked hot and fast and served in smaller portions than most people expect. For the rest of the state, see the Victoria delivery page.
