Carnivore Society delivers grass-fed beef, Wagyu and lamb to Reservoir for a flat $30, cut to order and dispatched chilled from our Thomastown facility just up the road. We dispatch Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 12pm cut-off. Reservoir is close enough that free collection is usually the smarter option.

Why Reservoir gets it fresh

One of our closest suburbs

Reservoir is one of the largest suburbs in Melbourne by population and one of the closest to the Thomastown facility where every Carnivore Society order is cut and packed. That combination makes it a natural pickup suburb: a short drive north, no delivery charge, and the order ready the same day if you beat the 12pm cut-off on a dispatch day.

If you would rather have it brought to you, it is the same flat $30 as everywhere else and arrives 1 to 2 business days after dispatch.

Cut to order, portioned how you want it

Nothing sits pre-cut on a shelf. Your order is broken down, trimmed and vacuum sealed after you buy, which means a large primal can be portioned to your instructions at no extra cost. Put it in the order notes. Delivered orders are packed with chilled gel packs into an insulated box rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours on the doorstep.

Named producers, stated grades

Cape Grim and Bass Strait supply 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Tasmania. OBE Organic runs certified organic cattle in the Channel Country. Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River cover Wagyu. Every cut is MSA graded, hormone free and antibiotic free, and the producer, feed type and marble score appear on each product page. Should I collect or have it delivered in Reservoir?

Collect if you can. Our facility at 5/337 Settlement Rd, Thomastown is a short run north and pickup is free, which saves the flat $30. Delivery is 1 to 2 business days after dispatch.

How quickly can I collect?

Orders placed before the 12pm cut-off on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday are cut, sealed and ready the same day.

How much is delivery if I do not collect?

A flat $30 with no minimum order and no free delivery threshold.

Can I order for a big family gathering?

Yes. Nothing is pre-cut, so tell us in the order notes how you want primals portioned. Cryovac holds up to 10 weeks refrigerated from packing while the seal is intact, so you can order well ahead.

Is the beef delivered frozen?

No, chilled and never frozen unless you request it. Products with FROZEN in the title are labelled clearly.

Is the beef grass-fed or grain-fed?

Both. Grass-fed covers Cape Grim, Bass Strait, OBE Organic, Greenham and Southern Ranges. Wagyu is grain-fed and includes Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River.
