South Morang sits in the Plenty Valley corridor, about ten minutes north of the Thomastown facility where every Carnivore Society order is cut and packed. That makes it one of the fastest addresses we deliver to, and one of the few where collecting in person is genuinely quicker than waiting for a courier. Orders placed before the 12pm cut-off on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday are packed that morning.

Cut to order, not off a shelf

Nothing is pre-cut and waiting. Your order is broken down, trimmed and vacuum sealed after you buy, then packed with chilled gel packs in an insulated box rated to hold temperature for 24 hours in transit and 12 hours on the doorstep. Chilled, never frozen, with up to 10 weeks of refrigerated life from packing while the seal holds.

Named producers, stated grades

Cape Grim and Bass Strait supply 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Tasmania. OBE Organic runs certified organic cattle in the Channel Country. Southern Ranges, Greenham and Angus Pure cover the grass-fed premium end, and Stone Axe, Shimo, Margaret River and King River cover Wagyu. Every cut is MSA graded, hormone free and antibiotic free, and the producer, feed type and marble score appear on the product page. If a claim is not on the page, we are not making it.

MB2 to MB4 grass-fed suits weeknight cooking and roasting. MB4 to MB5 is more forgiving on the grill. MB6 and above is Wagyu, best cooked hot and fast and served in smaller portions than most people expect. For transit times across the rest of the state, see the Victoria delivery page.
