Thornleigh sits on the upper north shore and runs on the standard Sydney metro window: 2 to 3 business days after a Monday, Wednesday or Friday dispatch. The rate is a flat $30 with no minimum order, and it does not change with the weight of the box or the distance from Melbourne.

Buying by grade rather than by label

Plenty of places sell expensive steak. Fewer will tell you the farm, the feed and the grade before you pay. Every Carnivore Society product page states the producer, the feed type and the marble score. MB2 to MB4 grass-fed tastes beefy rather than rich and suits roasting and weeknight cooking. MB6 and above is Wagyu territory, best cooked hot and fast and served in smaller portions than most people expect.

Cut to order after you buy

Nothing sits pre-cut in a display case. Your order is broken down, trimmed and vacuum sealed at Thomastown after you place it, then packed with chilled gel packs into an insulated box rated to hold safe temperature for 24 hours in transit and a further 12 hours on your doorstep.
